ASMR For Stress Or Depression

I thought i would write about how ASMR can help with depression, as it has helped me. I don't think any research has been done on how positive ASMR can help ease stress or depression. I have suffered from severe depression for many years, even tried antidepressants which have awful side effects. I have also had a go with herbal natural remedies like St Johns Wart. They are ok for someone with mild depression or stress but not for severe cases.

It was not helpful until i came across ASMR and the benefits it can provide to someone who is under alot of stress or suffers from depression. Alot of people that suffer from depression, do so because they are lonley or in other cases there is nobody for them to sit by there side and tell them everything is ok. I find listening or watching some of the ASMR videos on YouTube has helped alot with stress and depression because it sets off triggers in the brain which stimulates the brain and therefore puts you at ease at night when you are trying to sleep. I am not saying this is a cure for depression but it does help at difficult times when you have alot on your mind and find it difficult to sleep due to stress or depression.
 
Just by listening or watching your favourite ASMR videos and how they can benefit stress or depression have great effects on relaxing you and giving you that temporary relief from insomnia at night time. It may not be a cure but it does help those that are lonely and need something stimulating like listening to a calm soothing whispering voice to help them relax and doze off.
